Lydia Watson and the Spiders from Mom

Lydia came into my room veeeeery early yesterday morning.

Lydia - "Mommy, mommy..."
Me - "What's the matter, babe?"
Lydia - "Mommy, you're scaring me!"
Me - "How am I scaring you?"
Lydia - "You're talking about spiders!"
Me - "What? I'm what?"
Lydia - "I can hear you talking about spiders! You're scaring me!"
Me - "I'm sorry, I must be talking in my sleep. Come lay down."

I look at the clock. It is 12:52 am. Before I go back to sleep, I wonder which one of us is crazy on this particular morning. I do talk in my sleep, but Lydia often has nightmares about spiders. Sigh...I guess we will never know for sure.

I am so excited!!! I had a dream!!!!!
Stephen Curtis Chapman was at our church and was helping to decorate for the concert. I went over to him and told him how sorry I was about his daughter and gave him a hug and thought that he was very skinny and bony!
For those of you who don't know he is one of my favorite Christian artists and his daughter(5 I think) was accidentally run over by his 16 year old son during their oldest daughters engagement party. Such a horrible accident.
The dream was sad but I have so few dreams anymore that was exciting to me!
Weird I know!

Desmond Can Walk!

I am sitting in the living room when 9 week old Desmond walks by. At first I don't think anything of it. When he walks by again, I sit up suddenly and yell, "Desmond can walk! He's not even 2 1/2 months old and he can walk!" I get my phone and try to call my mom. I can't seem to dial her number. Desmond is very steady on his feet and is now carrying a toy. I keep yelling, "Desmond can walk! He never even crawled! Desmond can walk!"

I'd Totally Let Him Babysit!

"Chemo Limo"

I had a dream
Crispy crispy Benjamin Franklin came over
Baby-sat all four of my kids

Then in my dream
I told the doctor off
He said if you don't want to do it
then you don't have to do it
He said the truth is
You'll be okay, anyway

Then in my dream
Crispy crispy Benjamin Franklin and the doctor
Went off and had a talk with my boss

Something about insurance policies
They kept the door closed at all times
I couldn't hear or see

When they came out they said
You'll be okay, anyway
And I smiled cause I'd known it all the while.

No thank you no thank you no thank you no thank you
I ain't about to pay for this shit
I can afford chemo like I can afford a limo
and on any given day I'd rather ride in a limousine

No thank you no thank you no thank you no thank you
I ain't about to die like this
I can afford chemo like I can afford a limo
And besides this shit is making me tired
it's making me tired
it's making me tired
You know I plan to retire some day,
And I'm gonna go out in style
go out in style
This shit it's making me tired
it's making me tired
it's making me tired
But mama's gonna go out in style, go out in style

When I woke up
My kids were being quiet
I knew it was a dream right away
I called the limousine company

Then I got dressed
I dressed the kids as well
The limousine pulled in
And we piled in

The doctor he asked which way we were headed
I said, Sir, let's just go west and he listened obediently,
Sophie only wants to listen to radio BBC
Michael sat on my knees and whispered to me
All about the Meanies
Jacqueline was being such a big girl
with her cup of tea looking out of the window
And Barbara
She looks just like my mom
Oh my Barbara
She looks so much like my mom

No thank you no thank you no thank you no thank you
I ain't about to pay for this shit
I can afford chemo like I couldn't afford a limo
and on any given day I'd rather ride a limousine

No thank you no thank you no thank you no thank you
I ain't about to die like this
I can afford chemo like I couldn't afford a limo
And besides this shit is making me tired
it's making me tired
it's making me tired
You know I plan to retire some day,
But mama's gonna go out in style
go out in style
This shit it's making me tired
it's making me tired
it's making me tired
But mama's gonna go out in style go out in style

Style.
Style.
Style.
Style.
Style.
Style.
Style.
Style.
